On Wednesday last, we were lucky enough to go to Cinderella in Ardgillan CC, the students put on a fantastic show, we’re so impressed. We hope we get to see next years show! Being an active school, we walked.
We were lucky enough to have a visit from Brian Gallagher, we read ‘Friend or Foe’ earlier this year and we loved it. Brian answered lots of questions we had about being an author and becoming an author.

Miss Coleman told us all about her Uncle Thomas, he took part in the 1916 Rising, fought in the War of Independence and went on to become a priest. Thanks to Ms McGinleys class for making us welcome

We’re writing a new Proclamation for the twenty first century.
We worked with chocolate because we could easily have it as a solid (block) a liquid (melted) and a gas ( we could smell the vapor/gas)
We’ve already Surfwised and Webwised, but still learned lots from our Internet Safety Workshop
We had a terrific time measuring the heights of trees in our school, and completing a Scavenger hunt as part of our Biodiversity Workshop. Huge thanks to Brenda Palmer for the wonderful help!
