Boxing Week 3
With the fantastic Dave we got the gloves out today.
Exhausting fun was had by all! Huge thanks to BBC again!
Boxing 5th Class 2017
Dave from Bracken Boxing Club came to help put us through our paces with aerobic exercise. We’re all looking forward to the next three weeks
National Gallery & Natural History Museum Trip April 2017
Everyone in 5th Class was lucky enough to visit the National Gallery on Clare St. and the Natural History Museum on Merrion Square. The tour in the Gallery was terrific, especially considering how busy the Gallery was.
We had a terrific time in the Natural History Museum and saw lots of amazing Irish and international, especially the Hoopoe bird that was found here in Balbriggan in 1903

The sculpture Gallery was cool,Hercules was on legendary demigod!!!! But Teacher struggles taking pictures in mixed light settings.

Simple Circuits
Today we built simple electric circuits, both in series and in parallel.
RSA visit February 28th
The RSA came to visit today, ourselves and MS Sullivan’s Class had a terrific presentation and discussion about road safety.
Our trip to Cinderella
On Wednesday last, we were lucky enough to go to Cinderella in Ardgillan CC, the students put on a fantastic show, we’re so impressed. We hope we get to see next years show! Being an active school, we walked.
Brian Gallagher the author came to visit
We were lucky enough to have a visit from Brian Gallagher, we read ‘Friend or Foe’ earlier this year and we loved it. Brian answered lots of questions we had about being an author and becoming an author.
