We learned all about bees today. Lisa (a parent of one of our students) came in to teach us about keeping bees. Lisa has been learning about it herself, and showed us all her bee-keeping equipment.

We learned lots about bees, and we think they are very clever animals.  We learned about the very important queen bee and the worker bees,  all of whom are female! We learned too that the drone bees (the males) are kicked out of the hive in Autumn.
