We were delighted to have a visit from two Garda and their horses, Donnagh and Oscar today. This was a prize for our achievement in winning the overall prize in the Garda Christmas Card competition  in December. Kevin Dowling won the overall prize and Alanna McCormack won the top prize in her category. Congratulations again to you two and I would like to say Thank you on behalf of all in St. Molagas to  Alanna and Kevin for their achievements.

Each class had an opportunity to meet the horses and hear all about the work of the Garda Mounted Unit which is based in the Phoenix Park. They also had time to ask lots of questions and to pet the horses. I would like to say a big Thank You to Garda Kate who organised this event for us.
