One Halloween I was out trick or treating with my friends. I was dressed up as a ghost, Haylie was dressed up as a ‘cereal’ killer and my other friend Dylan was dressed up as a zombie. We where having lots of fun calling from house to house, until we took a short cut down the dark alley way to the spooky house. We went into the garden and walked up to the door. The door was left slightly open so we pushed the door gently and called out ‘trick or treat’. There was no answer, so we quietly crept inside to have a look around. As the door slammed I knew we were in danger. Next we heard a loud laugh, we turned around and standing there were our parents, they had tricked us!

When the door slammed I knew it wasn’t just my imagination! I’d felt something creepy around my bedroom for some time now. Nicol had come for a play-date, we were colouring pictures when suddenly my crayon started moving on its own on the page. Eeek! we both froze and coldness came upon us.
Omg what was that, we looked at each other with scared faces then ran downstairs to tell my Mam. Mam said ‘don’t be silly girls, ghosts are not real’. We had dinner feeling reassured. Then we went back upstairs to find the whole room was covered in Halloween pictures!! Spoooky !!
